Vitamin D Helps To Prevent Cancerous Breasts and Tumor Formation

A connection between vitamin D level and the risk of developing cancerous breasts has been implicated for a long time, but its clinical relevance had not yet been proven. Sascha Abbas and colleagues from the working group headed by Dr. Jenny Chang-Claude at the German Cancer Research Center (Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum, DKFZ), collaborating with researchers of the University Hospitals in Hamburg-Eppendorf, have now obtained clear
results:

While previous studies had concentrated chiefly on nutritional vitamin D, the researchers have now investigated the complete vitamin D status.
To this end, they studied 25-hydroxyvitamin D
(25(OH)D) as a marker for both endogenous vitamin D and vitamin D from food intake.

The result of the study involving 1,394 cancerous breast patients and an equal number of healthy women after menopause was surprisingly clear:

Women with a very low blood level of 25(OH)D have a considerably increased risk for cancerous breasts.
The effect was found to be strongest in women who were not taking acidic cancerous causing hormones for relief of menopausal symptoms. However, the authors note that, in this retrospective study, diagnosis-related factors such as chemotherapy or lack of sunlight after prolonged hospital stays might have contributed to low vitamin levels of breast cancer patients.

In addition, the investigators focused on the vitamin D receptor. The gene of this receptor is found in several variants known as polymorphisms.
The research team of the DKFZ and Eppendorf Hospitals investigated the effect of four of these polymorphisms on the risk of developing cancerous breasts. They found out that carriers of the Taql polymorphism have a slightly increased risk of cancerous acidic tumors that carry receptors for the female acidic sex hormone estrogen on their surface. No effects on the overall breast cancer risk were found. A possible explanation offered by the authors is that vitamin D can exert its cancerous-preventing effect by counteracting the growth-promoting effect of the acidic estrogens.

Besides its cancerous-preventing influence with effects on cell growth, cell differentiation and programmed cell death (apoptosis), vitamin D regulates, above all, the calcium metabolism in our body. Foods that are particularly rich in vitamin D include cod liver oil, green fruits and veggies. However, the largest portion of vitamin D is produced by our own body with the aid of sunlight.

Dr. Robert O. Youngs' Cancer Research Validated by British Scientific Study???

"A new MRI technique using sodium bicarbonate could detect a cancerous condition before tumor formation or tissue degeneration. This experimental alkalizing test measures tissue acidity and could gauge if medical or natural treatments are actually working,"
according to Dr. Robert O. Young, a research scientist at the pH Miracle Living Center.

A new imaging technique that relies on naturally occurring baking soda or sodium bicarbonate in the body could help pinpoint a cancerous condition earlier and quickly gauge if treatments are working, British researchers said.

The non-invasive method uses magnetic resonance imaging to measure changes in alkaline pH -- or acidity -- in tissue that is often the hallmark of a cancerous condition and other conditions such as heart dis-ease and strokes, said Kevin Brindle of the University of Cambridge, who led the study.

Currently there are no safe ways to measure tissue pH levels in humans but doing so is important because tumors, for example, are far more acidic than surrounding tissue.

According to Dr. Young, "the urine pH is a simple and an inexpensive way to determine the acid/alkaline pH of the body tissues. When the morning urine pH is below 7.2 this indicates tissue acidosis and a potential for a cancerous condition in the body tissues."

"You are imaging not just tissue structure but tissue function," said Brindle, whose study is published in the journal Nature. "We wanted to measure tissue pH, which is a surrogate for dis-ease."

"Disease is the expression of an over-acidic body."
states Dr. Young

The researchers injected mice with a tagged form of sodium bicarbonate -- an alkali more commonly seen in baking soda -- that occurs naturally in the body and balances acidity of the body, Brindle said.

They used MRI to see how much of the tagged sodium bicarbonate was converted into carbon dioxide within the tumor. In more acidic tumors, more bicarbonate is converted into carbon dioxide.

"The body tissues use sodium bicarbonate as a primary buffer to maintain the natural alkaline design of the tissues and to prevent degeneration of that specific tissue," states Dr. Young.

The researchers measured pH levels using an emerging technique called dynamic nuclear polarization that boosts MRI sensitivity more than 10,000 times.

The method developed by GE's GE Healthcare unit involves cooling down molecules to near absolute zero and then warming them up quickly -- a process that keeps them polarized and easier to detect as an image.

"MRI can pick up on the abnormal acidic pH levels found in cancerous tissues and it is possible that this could be used to pinpoint where the disease is present and when it is responding to treatment," Brindle said.

The next step is testing the technique in humans in early stage clinical trials expected to start in 2009, he added in a telephone interview.

According Dr. Young, "hyper-alkalization of the body tissues with sodium bicarbonate is the safest and most effective and natural way of reversing ANY cancerous condition."

Global and Body Warming Is Acid Warming

Have you read my article on Body Warming which is caused by the over-acidification of the body.

Global Warming and Body Warming Are Caused By ACID

The acidification of blood plasma can lead to degeneration of the red and white blood cells, internal blood clotting and chaining of the red blood cells. This condition of the blood leads to light headedness, cold hands, cold feet, forgetfulness, muddle thinking or brain fog, stroke, heart attack, tumor formation and internal bleeding, just to name a few

I have been studying the acid/alkaline conditions of the blood for over twenty-five years and have determined that all sickness and dis-ease or body warming is caused by the over-acidification of the blood and tissues.

Scientists have been studying the acid/alkaline conditions at the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea.

Natural carbon dioxide vents on the sea floor are showing scientists how carbon emissions will affect marine life.

Dissolved CO2 makes water more acidic, and around the vents, researchers saw a fall in species numbers, and snails with their shells disintegrating because of the increase of acid C02.

Writing in the journal Nature, the UK scientists suggest these impacts are likely to be seen across the world as CO2 levels rise in the atmosphere.

Some of the extra CO2 emitted enters the oceans, acidifying waters globally.

The only way of reducing the impact of ocean acidification is the urgent reduction in CO2 emissions.

"These same principals of acidification of the ocean also apply to the acidification of our body and the causative reason for the increase in cancer, heart disease, diabetes and all other degenerative diseases," states Dr. Robert O. Young, a research scientist at the pH Miracle Living Center.

"Studies have shown that the seas have become more acidic since the industrial revolution," states Carol Turley. of the Plymouth Marine Laboratory.

Research leader Jason Hall-Spencer from the University of Plymouth said that atmospheric CO2 concentrations were now so high that even a sharp fall in emissions would not prevent some further acidification of the ocean.

"It's clear that marine food webs as we know them are going to alter, and biodiversity will decrease," he told BBC News.

"Those impacts are inevitable because acidification is inevitable - we've started it, and we can't stop it."

Corals construct their external skeletons by extracting dissolved calcium carbonate from seawater and using it to form two minerals, calcite and aragonite. Molluscs use the same process to make their shells.

As water becomes more acidic, the concentration of calcium carbonate falls. Eventually there is so little that shells or skeletons cannot form.

The oceans are thought to have absorbed about half of the extra CO2 put into the atmosphere in the industrial age. This has lowered its pH by 0.1 pH is the measure of acidity and alkalinity.

The vast majority of liquids lie between pH 0 (highly acidic) and pH 14 (highly alkaline); 7 is the midpoint of the pH scale. Seawater is mildly alkaline with a "natural" pH of about 8.3.

The IPCC forecasts that ocean pH will fall by "between 0.14 and 0.35 units over the 21st Century, adding to the present decrease of 0.1 units since pre-industrial times."

Around the vents which Dr Hall-Spencer's team investigated, in the Mediterranean Sea near the Italian coast, CO2 bubbling into the water forms a sort of natural laboratory for studying the impacts of acidified water on marine life.

Globally, the seas now have an average pH of about
8.1 - down about 0.2 since the dawn of the industrial age.

Around the vents, it fell as low as 7.4 in some places.
But even at 7.8 to 7.9, the number of species present was 30% down compared with neighboring areas.

Coral was absent, and species of algae that use calcium carbonate were displaced in favour of species that do not use it.

Snails were seen with their shells dissolving.
There were no snails at all in zones with a pH of 7.4.

Meanwhile, sea grasses thrived, perhaps because they benefit from the extra carbon in the water.

These observations confirm that some of the processes seen in laboratory experiments and some of the predictions made by computer models of ocean ecosystems do also happen in the real world.

"I can't count the number of times that scientific talks end with 'responses have not yet been documented in the field'," said Elliott Norse, president of the Marine Conservation Biology Institute (MCBI).

"This paper puts that to rest for several ecologically important marine groups."

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) suggests that without measures to restrain carbon dioxide emissions, ocean pH is likely to fall to about
7.8 by 2100.

This suggests that some of the impacts seen around the Mediterranean vents might be widespread.

"I think we will see the same pattern in other parts of the world, because we're talking about keystone species such as mussels and limpets and barnacles being lost as pH drops," said Dr Hall-Spencer.

The IPCC suggests that some areas, notably the Southern Ocean, might feel the impacts at lower concentrations of CO2.

Last month, scientists reported that water with
CO2 levels high enough to be "corrosive" to marine life was rising up off the western US coast.

Bottom water naturally contains more CO2 than at shallower depths. This scientific team argues that human emissions have pushed these levels even higher, contributing to pH values as low 7.5 in waters heavily used by US fishermen.

"If [pH 7.8] is a universal 'tipping point', then it indicates that sections of the western coast waters off North America may have passed this threshold during periods when this upwelling of waters high in CO2 occurs," commented Carol Turley from Plymouth Marine Laboratory (PML), who was not involved in the Mediterranean Sea study (PML is not affiliated with Plymouth University).

Organisms such as coral are also damaged by rising temperatures, and studies are ongoing into the combined effect of a warming and acidifying ocean.

Seagrasses were among the few beneficiaries of more acid waters. There is much to learn. And during the coming week, scientists will announce the inauguration of the European Project on Ocean Acidification (Epoca), a four-year, 16m euro (£12.5m) initiative aiming to find some answers.

Studying the impacts may prove easier than doing anything about them.

"The reason that the oceans are becoming more acidic is because of the CO2 emissions that we are producing from burning fossil fuels," observed Dr Turley.

"Add CO2 to seawater and you get carbonic acid; it's simple chemistry, and therefore certain.

"This means that the only way of reducing the future impact of ocean acidification is the urgent, substantial reduction in CO2 emissions."

According to Dr. Young, "ocean acidification is the macro view of our oceans becoming sick and tired and the primary causative factor in global warming.
The death and extinction of marine life is the result of this acidification which can be prevented with alkalizing measures."

"Body acidification is the micro view of our internal oceans becoming sick and tired and the primary causative factor in body warming or all sickness and dis-ease. The death and extinction of the human race will be a result of an over- acidification of the blood and tissues due to an inverted way of living, eating and thinking. This is what scientist have determined happened to the extinction of the Mayan Race. We can prevent all sickness and dis-ease (cancer, heart dis-ease, diabetes, etc.) and the potential extinction of the human race by learning how to maintain the alkaline design of our body. These life changing and life saving principals are taught in our pH Miracle books, DVD's and CD's."

As you might know when the body becomes acidic there is a thinning of the bones to help maintain the alkalinity of the blood at 7.375. The same thing is happening to our oceans. They are becoming more acidic with an increasing carbon dioxide burden. The result is the shells of microscopic animals in the ocean are becoming thinner thanks to the oceans's adsorption and absorption of the excess carbon dioxide. The shells of these creatures are about one-third lighter.

This is causing the normal ocean pH to drop from 8.3 to an alarming 8.1. If this trend of a declining pH continues all marine life will perish in less then twenty-five years.

The same thing is happening to the human body, I call this body warming and is caused by the body adsorbing and absorbing metabolic and dietary acids not properly eliminated through urination, perspiration, defecation and respiration. This is also causing a thinning of our shells or the skeletal system.
This is the cause of osteopenia and ostoeporosis.

As carbon dioxide from the burning of fossil fuels has accumulated in the atmosphere, some of it has been absorbed by the ocean. As the gas dissolves in the water, it forms a weak acid (the same kind that's in (carbonated soft drinks), causing the ocean and the human body itself to become gradually more acidic.

As ocean water or body water becomes more acidic, it also lowers the amount of calcium carbonate available to aquatic animals or body cells that use the mineral to build shells or skeletons, such as corals or human bones.

These organisms can be important links in the marine food chain.

Scientists have predicted that the increase in ocean acidification could significantly reduce the ability of these creatures to build their casings, potentially devastating them and causing rippling effects through the ecosystem.

But "until now the potential impact on ocean chemistry and marine life has been based on projections and models" and laboratory experiments, said leader of the new study, Will Howard of the Antarctic Climate & Ecosystems Cooperative Research Centre in Australia.

With funding from the Australian Government Department of Climate Change, Howard and his colleagues collected microscopic marine animals - called planktonic foraminifera, or forams - from the South Tasman Rise region of the Southern Ocean. They compared the weights of the shells of these modern forams to those trapped in ocean sediments before the industrial revolution and the build-up of carbon dioxide.

They found that the modern shell weights were 30 to 35 percent lower than those of the older forams.

The researchers also found a link between higher atmospheric carbon dioxide levels and lower shell weights in a 50,000-year-long record from a marine sediment core (a long column drilled out from the ocean floor that shows layers of sediments as they were laid down over time).

"Today's results publish the first evidence from nature, rather than a laboratory, that the two are linked," Howard said.
The findings are detailed in the March 8 issue of the Journal Nature Geoscience.

If the results are applicable to the rest of the ocean, they could lead to large ecosystem shifts.

"The potential knock-on effects pose significant implications for the oceanic food chain and the findings are a worrying signal of what we can expect to see elsewhere in the future," Howard said.
"The Southern Ocean is giving us a strong indication of an acidification process that will spread throughout the global ocean."

As far as the acidification of the human race it is an epidemic!
This is why we will continue to see the increase in all degenerative conditions such as cancer, diabetes, heart dis-ease, MS, ALS, birth defects, dementia, etc.

Prevention is the cure for global warming and for body warming.
As eloquently stated by Ghandi, "You must be the change you want to see."

What To Do When You Cannot Afford Health Insurance

First let's state unequivocally, "Yes, Virginia... except for some surgical requirements, e.g., hernias, or broken bones, etc., YOU CAN BE HEALTHY WITHOUT having medical insurance, or even without being able to afford to see a doctor."

I want to say. "ALL dis-ease symptoms are caused by systemic acidic imbalances in the body", BUT I try not to use the words "Never", "Ever", or "All". As sure as I do, there will be some "exception", which, while rare, will catch me up. I will say that the extreme "majority" of sickness and dis-ease conditions do not and cannot exist in a properly alkalinized human body. Over acidic conditions from lifestyle and dietary choice cause the symptoms, which we define as "dis-ease" states.
You will note that I hyphenate the word "disease" as "dis-ease", because I cannot bring myself to acknowledge that "diseases" even exist. There are, in fact, "symptom syndromes", or collections of symptoms, which when identified, are given "names" in the medical lexicon. Once a "name" is given to a Symptom Syndrome, then it gets diagnosed, and pharmaceutical companies set about to produce drugs to ameliorate the symptoms. None of these drugs addresses the underlying cause of the dis-ease symptoms.

For example, there is NO disease "out there" such as Diabetes, just waiting for us to catch it. Diabetes is a Symptom Syndrome, which is caused by systemic over acidic conditions in the body resulting from our bad lifestyle and dietary choices.

So, what do you do when you want / NEED to be healthy without the intervention of the medical / pharmaceutical complex? What can you do when you can't afford health of dis-ease insurance?

FIRST - Begin to 'GREEN UP YOUR DIET"!! Begin to eat more salad greens, broccoli, green beans, celery, cucumber, spinach, avocados, asparagus, etc., Get the picture... GREEN FOODS! Lots of them!

SECOND - Get the high "acid ash" foods completely out of your diet. NEVER EAT THEM! Examples are ALL carbonated beverages, ALL sugars and ALL high carbohydrate foods, especially particularly sweet fruits.

THIRD - Get ALL animal proteins out of your diet! This will be a hard point for many of you. I had a client who told he went through his pantry and got rid of everything that had "animal protein" in it, and he said, "I didn't have ANYTHING LEFT TO EAT!!" You may have a similar experience. It is truly culture shock to realize how many products you daily rely upon, cannot be eaten by anyone who wants to avoid the doctor, and who wants to be healthy.

FOURTH - Get ALL animal, processed and trans fats and ALL Saturated Fats out of your diet. Eat only monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, such Olive Oil, Avocado Oil, Hemp Oil, etc., and eat A LOT of them. Monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, from GREEN fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts should be a primary source of electron rich and electrically active food and drink in your diet.

FIFTH - Drink LOTS OF ALKLAIME WATER!! Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate. Drink ONLY pure, filtered alkaline water. If the water in your area does not have a pH of at least 8.0 or higher, you will need to pH correct the water. You can purchase alkaline drops to add to your local filtered water. It would be wonderful if you can obtain a structured water machine, which will not only properly alkalize your water, and filter it, but will also correct it to the proper ORP (Oxidative Reduction Potential), which should ideally be in the -150 mV or greater range. If you can't afford a machine to correct the ORP level of your filtered water, DO NOT let that keep you from doing the things you can do. Get a water filter, and filter your water. Get some alkaline drops and correct the water pH to at finished pH of 9 or 10. DRINK 1 liter of pure, filtered, alkaline adjusted water for each 50 lbs. of body weight. The degree to which you think this is a lot of water, is an indicator of how
much trouble your body and health are in... water....adequate hydration is THE most critical thing you can do to improve your health. Your body should be over 70% water, and CANNOT function and be healthy without proper alkaline hydration.

SIXTH - Get out in the fresh air, and BREATHE. Oxygen is critical for health. Breathing deeply not only helps to maintain proper alkaline / acid relationships in the body, but also is critical for virtually every metabolic process in every tissue of the body. Don't count on your natural breathing, reflex to get all the oxygen you need. Do at least 15 mins. of deep breathing exercises every day. Take a slow, deep breath through your nose... hold it for a count of two, and exhale slowly through your nose. Count to two, and repeat. Do this for at least 15 mins. EVERY DAY! In addition, try to get in 4 or 5 such deep breaths as often during the day as you think about it. BREATHE!!

SEVENTH - Get some alkalizing "SALT" in your diet. I don't mean refined table salt. Start with a good sea salt. Our blood closely resembles the saline content of the oceans. YOU NEED SALT! The definition of "salt" gets a bit complicated. "Salts", at their simplest structure, are metals which are connected by single bonds only and do not have Hydrogen atoms connected to them. Don't get bogged down with this technical definition. I only mention it to say that the human body contains a lot of alkaline "salts" besides just table salt, i.e., Sodium (the metal) plus Chloride, NaCl. The human body critically includes a number of "salts" of several metals, e.g., Potassium, Calcium, Sodium and Magnesium, known as "electrolytes". It is difficult to get enough of the proper relative quantities of these inter-related salts without the proper diet I have set out above.

I formulated a food additive called, pHour Salts, to help with adequate intake of the four main electrolytes. If you have access to a supply of pHour Salts, it will really help, but if you don't - do not despair. If you don't have access to pHour Salts, get some good sea salt or pHlavor spray mineral salts, and try to eat the darkest green foods you can obtain.

EIGHTH - Monitor you own health. Get a few packages of "pH Test Strips". Test both your urine and saliva. They are excellent indicators of the proper healthy tissue environments in your body. Each tests a different tissue environment. Check both your urine and your saliva. Check the first urine of the day and your saliva before eating anything in the morning, and then a few times during the day. If you find that your test results are below 7.0 correct immediately, either with a little pHour Salts, or eat a bit of particularly alkaline food, e.g., cucumber, broccoli, asparagus, avocado, etc.. You will quickly get the hang of what corrects your test results the best, and what doesn't.

I like to use the acronym, C.O.W.S., which stands for CHLOROPHYLL, (OXYGEN and OIL), WATER and SALT.. The proper balance of these four elements through proper eating and dieting, will result in robust health, and WILL KEEP YOU HEALTHY without the traditional frequent visits to the doctor. Getting the proper balance of these four intakes WILL keep you healthy WHEN YOU CAN'T AFFORD HEALTH INSURANCE.

So, if you find yourself without health insurance... the situation may truly be a blessing in disguise, IF it gets you to take control of your own health instead of contracting it out to your doctor and local hospitals. GET HEALTHY AND STAY HEALTHY! You can do it without health insurance or doctors!

Prevent or Reverse Cancer With Broccoli

While it has been known for some time that eating cruciferous vegetables, such as broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage, can help prevent breast cancer, the mechanism by which the active substances in these vegetables inhibit cell proliferation was unknown -- until now.

Scientists in the UC Santa Barbara laboratories of Leslie Wilson, professor of biochemistry and pharmacology, and Mary Ann Jordan, adjunct professor in the Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, have shown how the healing power of these vegetables works at the cellular level. Their research is published in last month's journal Carcinogenesis.

"Breast cancer, the second leading cause of cancer deaths in women, can be protected against by eating cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage and near relatives of cabbage such as broccoli and cauliflower," said first author Olga Azarenko, who is a graduate student at UCSB. "These vegetables contain compounds called isothiocyanates which we believe to be responsible for the cancer-preventive and anti-carcinogenic activities in these vegetables. Broccoli and broccoli sprouts have the highest amount of the isothiocyanates.

"Our paper focuses on the anti-cancer activity of one of these compounds, called sulforaphane, or SFN," Azarenko added. "It has already been shown to reduce the incidence and rate of chemically induced mammary tumors in animals. It inhibits the growth of cultured human breast cancer cells, leading to cell death."

According to Dr. Robert O. Young, Director of Research at the pH Miracle Center, "one of the alkalizing isothicyanate compounds, called sulforaphane reduces environmental, dietary and metabolic acid in the extracellular fluids and in turn reduces tissue acidosis which in turn prevents and/or reverses a cancerous condition, even in the breasts of women or the prostate of men."

Signs of Aging - 45 BioMarkers - And How To Live Beyond 100 Years

The following are 45 bio-markers for aging and how to reverse them for living and enjoying life to its fullest.

This is not an exhaustive list, and is in no particular order but are keys to the fountain of youth and living beyond 100 years.

1. Muscle mass decreases. (muscle/weight/height Body Mass Index Increases)

2. Fat increases as a percentage of body weight.

3. Strength, energy and speed of the body decreases.

4. Base Metabolic Rate (metabolism) decreases.

5. Aerobic Capacity, the capacity to process oxygen, decreases. Red blood cells as a percentage of total blood volume (hematocrit) decreases until the average at age 90 is what is considered to be "anemia" at age 40.

6. Body cells become resistant to insulin.

7. LDL Cholesterol ("bad" cholesterol) and triglicerides increase, and HDL Cholesterol ("good" cholesterol) falls.

8. Blood pressure increases.

9. Bone mineral density decreases.

10. Density of calcium in circulatory system increases.

11. Kidney functions decrease.

12. We lose neurons in our brain. This leads to Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Senile Dementia.

13. The vagus nerve, the longest nerve in our body, deteriorates... and all the nervous system surely also deteriorates.

14. Growth Hormone secretion drops.

15. Testosterone in men, and estrogen and progesterone in women, drops.

16. Sexual desire drops.

17. Thyroid (a hormone which affects metabolism) drops.

18. Melatonine (a hormone which regulates the body clock) drops.

19. DHEA (a hormone precursor to testosterone and estrogen) drops.

20. EPO, (erythropoyetin, a hormone which stimulates the production of new red blood cells) drops.

21. Estradiol, a female hormone, increases in men.

22. Cortisol, "the Death Hormone," increases.

23. Good enzymes (Super Oxidase Dimutase, etc.) drop.

24. A bad enzyme, MAO-B increase in the brain. MAO-B destroys neurons that produce dopamine, which is a neuro-transmitter.

25. Aromatase enzyme, a bad enzyme, increases. Aromatase converts testosterone to estrogen in men, which deprives him of libido.

26. The thickness of skin decreases, resulting in more wrinkles.

27. Prolactin, a female hormone, increases in the body of a male, presumably depriving him of some sexual libido.

28. Water proportion in the body and in the skin, drops. This results (among other things) in dryer skin, and more wrinkles.

29. Sense of hearing drops.

30. Sense of taste drops... "everything tastes the same"

31. Sense of vision, especially capacity to read small letters in low light, decreases.

32. Hair falls and loses its color (it becomes white).

33. The thymus gland, the master of the immune system, shrinks and atrophys, thus lessening our immune system.

34. Our liver, brain, and other critical organs shrink in size, thus affecting their functions.

35. Lipofuscine ("liver spots") accumulates in our hands and our brains. This snuffs out many neurons in our brain.

36. The circulatory system deteriorates in length and width.

37. The velocity of blood flow decreases.

38. Inflammation increases in our body.

39. "Deep sleep" becomes more scarce and less profound.

40. Digestion becomes slower and less complete.

41. The retina of the eye becomes thinner, in many cases detaching.

42. The macula of the eye loses some of its shape after age 40, and causes distorted vision.

43. Micro-vessels in the eye pop, covering the retina, causing partial loss of vision, or complete blindness.

44. Night-vision decreases.

45. Melanocytes continually release small amounts of the brown- black pigment called melanin into the skin. Exposure to sunlight signals the melanocytes to produce more melanin. Melanin determines our normal skin color and attempts to protect our skin from severe sun damage. As we age, our melanocytes begin to function less effectively. The density of active melanocytes in the skin is reduced by 10% to 20% every 10 years, starting in our late 30's and 40's. Melanocytes are also responsible for hair color, so their loss explains why 50% of people are gray by age 50.

The good news is that for everything that can happen, for each sign of aging there is a cause, and there is a natural approach to slow down or stop the sign of aging completely, or even reverse the course. The following are the keys to slowing down and/or stopping the aging process and living to over 100.

1. Muscle mass decreases... on the average about 7 lbs. per decade... this loss accelerates after age 45.

And what to do about it: Do exercises to increase muscle mass, or to decrease the rate of loss. Take 1 teaspoon of glutathione 3 times a day, which will help to increase muscle mass. Eat more high chlorophyll foods to build blood and in turn builds muscles. Eliminate all animal protein and complex carbohydrate intake to reduce acidity that tenderizes and weakens muscle cell. Whole body or whole cell exercising with a rebounder and/or whole body vibrational machine will help to remove acids from the tissues and prevent and/or reverse tissue wasting. Drink 4 to 5 liters or quarts of electron rich alkaline water with 1 to 2 scoops of pHruits and pHloage and/or Doc Broc Power Plants.

2. Fat percentage increases from 25% to more than 40%.

And what to do about it: Eat less sugar and protein in your diet which causes the body to retain fat to buffer the excess acids. Eliminate undigested proteins in the 9 yards of the intestines with oral alimentary canal cleaners, enemas and colonic irrigation. Take 2 to 3 teaspoons of Young pHorever pHlush which contains magnesium oxide to break-up undigested animal proteins, sticky acids from complex carbohydrates and acid bound mucous.

3. Body strength, energy, and speed decreases.

And what to do about it: Do low impact and static attraction exercises every day for 1 hour. Try to EAT much more chlorophyll rich foods and eat 60 grams of polyunsaturated fats.

4. Base Metabolic Rate (Metabolism) decreases. The thyroid gland produces less hormone.

And what to do about it: Eliminate All animal protein and complex carbohydrates, eat more alkaline electron rich, high water content and high chlorophyll content foods and drinks. Start taking 1 to 2 teaspoons of pHour salts containing sodium, magnesium, potassium and calcium. Spray the pHlavor salt in your mouth every hour or when you feel a decrease in energy.

5. Aerobic capacity (capacity to process oxygen) decreases.

And what to do about it: Do low impact aerobic exercises such as rebounding, walking, jogging, and whole body vibration every day for at least 1 hour. Exercise is all around good -- giving you the positive effects of increased endorphins and a reduced waistline. It makes your heart stronger by pumping more blood with less effort, lowers cholesterol and blood pressure, prevents and controls diabetes, strengthens bones and muscles and controls weight. Convinced yet? A study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine showed that participants who had moderate to high exercise routines lived 1.3 to 3.7 years longer than their couch potato counterparts. Clear the bowels of any undigested animal and dairy products. Drink 1 tablespoon of liquid chlorophyll every hour to help build the blood.

6. Body cells lose sensitivity to insulin.

And what to do about it: Avoid all sugars (natural sugars like honey, agave or stevia) and complex carbohydrates in your diet, increase healthy fats in your diet from avocado, olive, hemp, pumpkin, sesame, etc., and eliminate all protein in your diet. If you are overweight, try to lose weight through the pH Miracle alkaline diet and low impact and static attraction exercise. Do exercises to increase muscle mass and eliminate acids, which will help to lower high insulin levels. As you eliminate acidity and clear the bowels of undigested protein and carbohydrate, this will reverse your sensitivity to insulin. Take supplements with chromium and vanadium, which will help insulin to work better. Take supplemental sodium, magnesium, potassium, calcium, long chain fats, arginine, carnitine, and especially veggie based glutathione. Buy a meter to measure glucose levels after every meal, and adjust your diet to keep glucose between 70 and 105, (preferably 80 to 95.) As you begin to al kalize your body you will need less insulin (up to 75% in the first 72 hours).

7. LDL Cholesterol, (Low Density Lipoprotein, the "good cholesterol) increases when we are more acidic, and HDL Cholesterol (High Density Lipoprotein, the "good" cholesterol) decreases when we are eating acidic foods.

And what to do about it: Avoid animal protein, all sugar, and complex carbohydrate foods whenever you can. Take chromium, vanadium, Omega-3 from hemp seed, Omega-5 from pomegranate seed, amino acids such as glutathione, taurine, cysteine, carnitine. Eat alkaline, high chlorophyll fruits and vegetables with a high content of water and fiber. Never take injected growth hormone!
Eating up to two portions of fish on a weekly basis is beneficial, reported the Harvard School of Public Health. In fact, eating fish could possibly cut the risk of death by heart disease by one-third. Here's why: omega-3's fatty acids are healthy. They keep blood from clotting, lower the amount of fats in the bloodstream and reduce the risk of obesity. Plus, they provide a lot of nutrients like selenium, antioxidants and protein. However, pregnant women and children need to limit their intake of high-mercury fish like swordfish, king mackerel and others.

8. Blood pressure increases.

And what to do about it: Eat less animal protein, eat less foods with a high carbohydrate content (potatoes, rice, pasta, sweets, bread) and eat more foods with a high chlorophyll content. Avoid processed salt and eat mineral salts like pHlavor, take supplementary chromium, vanadium. magnesium, potassium, and calcium. Do whole body exercises.

9. Density of minerals in our bones decreases. Osteoporosis ("porous bones") is a nearly universal condition beginning after age 50.

And what to do about it: Eliminate all acidic foods and drinks which causes the release of calcium ions from the bones. Take supplemental vitamin D, sodium, calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, lysine, and boron. Take mineral salts like pHour salts and pHlavor salts. Exercise at least 1 hour every day.

10. Calcium increases in our blood, as it decreases in our bones. More calcium in the blood contributes to arthritis, and stiffness of the circulatory system.

And what to do about it: Eliminate all acidic foods and drinks as outlined in the pH Miracle for Weight Loss, including all proteins, sugars, complex carbohydrates, non-alkaline water. Start eating a diet rich in chlorophyll, alkaline water, mineral salts like pHour salts and pHlavor salts and liberal amounts of long chain fats from olive, hemp, flax and pomegranate,

11. Kidney function decreases. The kidneys are responsible for filtering and purifying our blood from dietary and metabolic acids. They also serve as a thermostat to determine if there is enough oxygen in our blood. If there are not enough red blood cells carrying oxygen, the kidneys are the organs that produce EPO, erythropoietin. As kidney function decreases, they allow red blood cell level to decrease, which decreases oxygen to all parts of our body.

And what to do about it: If red blood cell count is lower than normal, it can be raised by increasing the diet in high chlorophyll foods and drinks. Eliminate all meat in your diet. Drink 4 to 5 quarts or 4 to 5 liters of alkaline green drinks per day. Take 1 teaspoon of glutathione 3 times a day.

12. We lose about 20% of the neurons in our brain. This may be due to a lack of oxygen, or to the increase in acid on our brain, or bad circulation, or red blood cell deficiency or probably to a combination of these factors. Improving any or all of them will decrease the loss of neurons.

And what to do about it: Nebulize 10 ml of glutathione 3 times a day. Glutathione will help to clean up lipofuscin, which contributes to the loss of brain cells. Hydration with green drinks will help to clean up the circulatory system. Lower cholesterol and triglycerides will help blood to flow better. Vaso-dilators such as sodium, magnesium, potassium and calcium bicarbonate with 4 to 5 liters of pHruits and pHolage and/or Doc Broc Power Plants per day will help get food, oxygen, and water to your brain cells. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy will super-saturate blood with oxygen, which could help repair or save brain cells. Take supplements with glutathoine, cysteine, taurine, magnesium, zinc, choline, vitamins B-5, B-6, B-12, folic acid, calcium, and especially CLA from pomegranate seeds. Nebulize glutathione, cysteine, and taurine which will help to increase your circulatory system to the brain, which will help to keep your brain cells healthy. Playing chess, reading newspapers,
attending plays or finishing a crossword puzzle all have positive health results, experts say. Brain fitness is paramount to maintaining your cognitive abilities. According to one study by Neurology Online, people who mentally exercised their brains had a reduced risk of mild cognitive impairment and a risk of Alzheimer's that was 2.6 times less than people who did not stimulate their mind.

13. The largest nerve in the body, the vagus nerve, which runs from the brain to the lower body, deteriorates from acidic exposure to dietary and metabolic acids. The vagus nerve is the main neural component of the parasympathetic nervous system, or that part of the nervous system that takes care of the functions that run more or less on "auto-pilot". These include heart rate, ability to have an erection in men, and digestion. As we age, the vagus nerve is affected and damaged by rising blood acid levels. This affects and can be measured in heart rate, the increase in erectile impotence in men, and digestive problems. A twenty-one year old non-diabetic's heart rate typically slows as much as 75 percent from inhaling to exhaling. This drops to about 30 percent for a seventy year old non-diabetic, or less (including "no variation") in a diabetic.

And what to do about it: The acid sugar causes the most damage to the circulatory system. Learn which foods increase your blood glucose levels, and avoid those foods (potatoes, bread, sweets, fruits, rice, pasta, pizza, cookies, and cakes). Eliminate all animal proteins that will decrease uric, nitric, sulphuric and phosphoric acid.

14. Growth hormone secretion decreases about 70% from age 20 to 50, and another 70% from age 50 to 80. Testosterone decreases in males, estrogen decreases in females, thyroid decreases, DHEA, and melatonin decrease.

And what to do about it: Eat more mineral salts like pHlavor and pHour salts to decrease dietary and metabolic acids and increase the health of the endocrine system. When you have a healthy endocrine system which runs on electrons transported on the backbone of mineral salts then the glands will function normally. The evidence of a normally functioning gland is the secretion of hormones which are the acidic waste products of these glands. Some of these acidic glandular acidic waste products include melatonin, DHEA, pregnenolone, testosterone, Tri-Est, progesterone, thyroid, and growth hormone. The single most important nutrient for healthy endocrine glands are the ingestion of mineral salts, especially sodium. It is scientifically proven to reverse many of the signs of aging, including perhaps rejuvenating the thyroid gland itself.

15. Our bodies produce less of certain antioxidants, such as super-oxidase dimutase, which are important for buffering dietary acids or as our first natural defense against fermentation or tissue degeneration from dietary and metabolic acids.

And what to do about it: eat raw electron rich green fruits and vegetables, if necessary take natural mineral salt supplements, like pHour salts which contains sodium, magnesium, potassium and calcium bicarbonate. Take orally glutathione, which will help decrease the harmful dietary and metabolic acids that increase with age.

16. The thickness of our skin decreases... skin wrinkles.

And what to do about it: Take supplements of vitamin A, C, E, and glutathione. Eliminate all animal protein and complex carbohydrates. Increase your intake of green fruits and vegetables which are high in chlorophyll that will help build healthy blood and in turn help build healthy skin cells. The quality of the blood will determine the quality of the skin cells and the quality of the red blood cells as the primary stem cells will be determined by the quality and quantity of green fruits and vegetables eaten. Take at least 9 to 12 servings of green fruits or vegetables a day or supplement your diet with a concentration of fruits and vegetables called pHruits and pHolage. Take 1 to 2 capsules or pHruits and pHolage with alkaline water 3 times daily.

17. The proportion of water in tissues decreases... this causes dry skin and more wrinkles.

And what to do about it: Drink 4 to 5 liters or quarts of structured electron rich alkaline water with 1 to 2 scoops of concentrated pHruits and pHolage and/or Doc Broc Power Plants each day. This will help provide the naturally occurring antioxidants to prevent wrinkles and the electron rich hydration to prevent dry skin.

18. We hear less well, and see less well.

And what to do about it: take supplemental Glutathione, Vitamin A, and Vitamin E. Place 1 drop in each ear or each eye of colloidal copper, gold, silver and titanium. Drink 4 to 5 liters or quarts of electron rich alkaline water with 1 to 2 scoops of pHruits and pHloage and/or Doc Broc Power Plants.

19. Men more than women, some younger and some older, but all of us lose hair on our heads, and hair turns white.

And what to do about it: Wash and condition your hair with Young pHorever Shampoo and Conditioner which will increase the circulatory system reaching the roots of the hairs, thus taking water, oxygen, and nutrients to the roots of your hair. This will avoid or postpone the loss of hair.

20. The thymus gland which is the master gland of the immune system, shrinks and atrophy's with age, because of increased dietary and metabolic acids.

And what to do about it: Take supplements of Young pHorever Glutathione, CLA from pomegranate, Vitamins A, and E. Drink 4 to 5 liters or quarts of electron rich alkaline water with 1 to 2 scoops of pHruits and pHloage and/or Doc Broc Power Plants to help reverse the atrophy of the thymus gland.

21. The liver and brain and other vital organs shrink and become less effective because of dietary and metabolic acid. We lose up to 20% of the neurons in our brain, especially after age 45. Our liver also shrinks in size because of dietary and metabolic acid.

And what to do about it: Drink 4 to 5 liters or quarts of electron rich alkaline water with 1 to 2 scoops of pHruits and pHloage and/or Doc Broc Power Plants to help dilate the capillaries. This will help feed the brain and other organs with oxygen and nutrients, to prevent loss. Take Young pHorever glutathione, which will increase the circulatory system, thus getting nutrients and oxygen and water to all organs, thus preventing their loss.

22. Lipofuscin accumulates in our brains and snuffs out memory cells.

And what to do about it: Drink 4 to 5 liters or quarts of electron rich alkaline water with 1 to 2 scoops of pHruits and pHolage and/or Doc Broc Power Plants to help remove lipofuscin from the brain, or reduce the rate of accumulation, with a doctor's supervision. Take Young pHorever glutathione, which will increase the size and vigor of the circulatory system, thus helping to keep the garbage moving out.

23. The circulatory system deteriorates. We are born with a perfectly clean and beautifully flexible circulatory system reaching everywhere. But by the time we are 50 years old, if you would see a cross-section of your veins and arteries, and depending upon how much you have abused your body with sugar, transfat foods, cigarettes and alcohol etc, they are looking like a clogged up sewer. In addition to cholesterol bound acid, they are clogged up with calcium bound acid, and veins and arteries have lost flexibility. This causes blood to circulate more slowly, and so less oxygen gets to all parts of the body, including the brain. Dietary and metabolic acid are at the root cause of loss of brain cells, and organ and gland atrophy.

And what to do about it: Avoid as much sugar and carbohydrates and proteine in your diet, as possible. Young pHorever Glutathione, cysteine, and taurine will help prevent free radical damage, which causes some of the problem. Omega-3, 5, 6 and 9 oil will help lower acidity, increasing the level of healthy red blood cells that will help repair the walls of the circulatory system, and bowel detoxification, oral alkaline chelation will might help to cleanse out micro-calcifications and some metals, thus improving circulation. Take Young pHorever glutathione which is proven to increase the length and breadth of the circulatory system. Drink 4 to 5 liters or quarts of electron rich alkaline water with 1 to 2 scoops of pHruits and pHolage and/or Doc Broc Power Plants to help build red blood cells and to dilate the circulatory system, thus helping to increase the flow of blood to all parts of the body. Take chlorophyll and eat green fruits and vegetables to increase blood volume, th e percentage of blood that is red blood cells, and hemoglobin which carries oxygen. You know what they say, "A cucumber a day keeps the doctor away." Broccoli, kale, avocado, cucumbers whatever the fruit or veggie, chances are you're doing a body good with its vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants and fiber. According to the World Cancer Research Fund and the American Institute for Cancer Research, diets that contain substantial and varied amounts of fruits and vegetables may potentially prevent 20 percent or more cancer cases.

24. Toxic metals such as lead and mercury accumulate throughout our lives in our bodies. They stick to the brain and the spinal column, causing damage. This process probably starts soon after birth. After a certain level, lead will cause a decrease in learning. Mercury causes a decrease in learning and headaches and pain. Both probably also contribute to damage which might result in an increase in other terrible deceases.

And what to do about it: Get an analysis done to determine what levels of toxic metals are in your body. Of course, if you smoke, quit smoking. Drink 4 to 5 liters or quarts of electron rich alkaline water with 1 to 2 scoops of pHruits and pHolage and/or Doc Broc Power Plants to help lower the levels of toxic metals. Dry heat sauna, lymphatic massage and exercise can also help lower some toxins. Avoid contact as much as possible with mercury and lead in paints, fungus creams, etc. The greatest amount of mercury is foolishly placed into your mouth by ignorant dentists, via so-called "silver" amalgams (if dentists would call them "mercury amalgams," like they should since they are more than 50% mercury, then they might lose business...) Utterly refuse any mercury amalgams in your mouth, and consider removing and replacing the ones you have!

25. Water proportion in the body and in the skin, drops. This results (among other things) in dryer skin, and more wrinkles.

And what to do about it: Drink 4 to 5 liters or quarts of electron rich alkaline water with 1 to 2 scoops of pHruits and pHloage and/or Doc Broc Power Plants.

26. Deep sleep deteriorates. The first stage of deterioration of sleep due to aging occurs between young adulthood (ages 16 to 25) and mid-life (35-50). Although the total amount of sleep remains constant as young adults move into mid-life, the proportion of slow wave or deep sleep decreases from nearly 20% of a normal night's sleep for those under 25, to less than five percent for those over 35. Growth hormone secretion, which occurs primarily during deep sleep, also declines by about 75%.

And what to do about it: Nebulize glutathione, which helps to increase deep sleep. Drink 4 to 5 liters or quarts of electron rich alkaline water with 1 to 2 scoops of pHruits and pHloage and/or Doc Broc Power Plants. Getting less than six hours of sleep each night could have negative health effects. A study from the Sleep Health Centers in Boston reported that getting less than this amount of sleep each night increased the risk of dying. Plus, having too little sleep increases your risk of diabetes. Sleeping reduces the levels of leptin, which is the hormone that signals us to stop eating. A heavier weight equates to an increased diabetes risk. Experts recommend getting between six to nine hours of sleep each night for optimum health.

27. Certain acidic hormones such as cortisol increase with age. Cortisol is produced by the body in response to stress. It is a catabolic, ie, it destroys or ferments muscle. Cortisol is also known as "the Death hormone" under the theory that the human body will spontaneously end its own life at a certain age.

And what to do about it: Avoid anger and stress, and very strenuous exercise which will make the body produce cortisol. Take 1 teaspoon of Young pHorever glutathione 3 times a day, which helps you to remain optimistic and to resist stress. Drink 4 to 5 liters or quarts of electron rich alkaline water with 1 to 2 scoops of pHruits and pHloage and/or Doc Broc Power Plants.

28. A harmful acidic enzyme, aromatase, increases with age. Aromatase converts testosterone to estrogen, which are both acidic waste products of glandular function. In a man's body, this results in a loss of muscle and worsening skin tone, and a decrease in sex drive. In a woman's body, this results less activity of the glands that are vital for building muscle, and skin tone, and also sex drive. This is indicated by the reduction of the acidic waste hormone testosterone.

And what to do about it: Take phour salts, pHlavor salts, and glutathione, which are very effective anti-aromatase. Drink 4 to 5 liters or quarts of electron rich alkaline water with 1 to 2 scoops of pHruits and pHloage and/or Doc Broc Power Plants. After 12 weeks you can take blood tests for hormone levels to determine that the hormone levels are now in healthy levels.

29. Digestion becomes slower and less complete.

And what to do about it: It is important to note that the digestive system does not digest food but alkalizes food for biological transformation into stem cells in the crypts of the small intestine. The salivary glands, stomach, pancreas, and gallbladder all secret sodium bicarbonate to alkalize the food and liquids we ingest. To help in the process of alkalizing our food take 1 scoop of pHour salts in 3 t 4 ounces of electron rich alkaline water 2 to 3 times a day.

30. When sunlight hits the skin, cells called melanocytes (located between the outer and middle layers of the skin) begin to take action. Melanocytes continually release small amounts of the brown- black pigment called melanin into the skin. Exposure to sunlight signals the melanocytes to produce more melanin. Melanin determines our normal skin color and attempts to protect our skin from severe sun damage.

And what to do about it: Take 1 teaspoon of Young pHorever glutathione 3 time a day and treat your hair with Young pHorever Shampoo and Conditioner, which can help to reverse loss of hair color in many people. Drink 4 to 5 liters or quarts of electron rich alkaline water with 1 to 2 scoops of pHruits and pHloage and/or Doc Broc Power Plants. Wearing Young pHorever sunscreen, limiting your exposure to the sun during peak hours and wearing sunglasses are some ways to prevent skin damage and cancer. Considering skin cancer is the most common of cancer types -- more than one million cases are diagnosed each year in the U.S. -- prevention and early detection are key to prolonging your life.

There are other things you can do to slow down the aging process and increase the likelihood of living beyond 100 years:

1) Manage Stress

Whether you manage stress by getting a massage, meditating or working out, as long as you're doing something to curtail the anxiety you're headed towards a healthier life. Stressful situations such as births, deaths, divorce and employment concerns often slow down the blood flow to the heart, raise cholesterol levels, decrease your mental well-being and weaken the immune system with the increase of metabolic acids.

2) Stay Positive

If you always think the glass is half full, you're on the right track. Mayo Clinic research shows that people with a positive outlook typically live 19 percent longer than people who see the glass as half empty. Although it's questionable if this can be attributed to optimists being more likely to seek medical help when they're ill or their immune systems being stronger as a result of their sunny outlook, the result is that they live longer. Optimists are also less likely to suffer depression and helplessness than their pessimist counterparts because they create less acid in their body.

3) Quit Drinking Alcohol

Alcohol is a toxic acidic fluid and compromises the alkaline design of the body. Drinking any acidic alcohol will shorten your life.

4) Quit Smoking

Let's face it: smoking is bad for you. Really bad. Need proof? Based on data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, adult male smokers lost approximately 13.2 years of their lives and female smokers lost 14.5 years of their lives because of smoking. Plus, chronic diseases caused by smoking tended to curtail the quality of life of smokers while they were still alive.

5) Laugh out Loud

Experts say that laughter is the best medicine. After all, it increases your immune system response, lowers acidic blood sugar levels in diabetics, increases oxygen flow throughout your entire body and helps induce a state of relaxation promoting better sleep. The positive health effects are no laughing matter: according to the University of Maryland Medical Center, average blood flow typically increases 22 percent during and after bursts of laughter compared to a decrease in blood flow by 35 percent during mental stress.

6) Get Married

Exchanging vows comes with its own medical perks. A study in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health showed the death rate for people who were unmarried was significantly higher compared to people who were married and living with their spouses. While the results were significant among the various unmarried subcategories such as divorced, separated, or widowed populations, it was significantly stronger for people who had never been married.

7) Share a Hug

Couples who had physical contact, such as a brief hug and ten minutes of hand holding, actually lowered their heart rates and blood pressure by 50 percent, according to researchers at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Plus, in a previous study it was determined that hugging and hand-holding reduces the negative effects of stress.

8) Eat An Alkaline pH Miracle Diet

Eating an alkaline diet rich in spouted grains, seeds, nuts, vegetables and fruits is the best way to maintain the delicate pH balance of the blood and tissues and the alkaline design of the body. This will then help to prevent any and all sickness and disease. It will also help to improve the quality and the quantity of life well beyond 100 years.
